Five separate trim levels are offered with the Toyota Tundra: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, the 1794 Edition, and TRD Pro. If you’re seeking off-road capability, the TRD Pro trim gets you plenty of off-road features such as lighter BBS forged wheels, a 2-inch lift for added clearance, and larger aluminum Fox shocks. When it comes to the engine of the Tundra, you have two options. First, there’s a 4.6-liter V8 engine. You can also choose a 5.7-liter V8 engine.
For those of you seeking more performance options, the TRD Sport package adds 20-inch wheels and a sport-tuned suspension. To add even more off-road features, you can consider the TRD Off-Road package which gets you off-road tires, tow hooks, trail-tuned shock absorbers, and skid plates.
As you can see, if you’re looking for a versatile truck that provides plenty of space for you and your passengers, as well as offers lots of off-road capability, the Tundra is the way to go!
The 2019 RAM 1500 comes in seven distinct trim levels: Tradesman, HFE, Big Horn, Rebel, Laramie, Longhorn, and Limited. As far as engine options are concerned, the standard option is a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. The HFE trim gains a 5.7-liter V8 that produces 395 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque.
The Rebel trim adds several off-road features such as skid plates, front tow hooks, fortified shocks and suspension, off-road tires, hill descent control, a 3.92 axle ratio, and an electronic-locking rear axle. No matter which trim you choose, you’re certain to enjoy the variety of features and amenities the RAM 1500 brings to the table. For instance, you gain an abundance of technology and comfort features. On top of that, the cabin gives you plenty of space.
Now that you’ve learned a bit more about the 2019 Toyota Tundra and the 2019 RAM 1500, how can you choose between the two? After all, these popular trucks both have much to offer. Let’s break it down:
The Tundra is offered in five trims while the RAM 1500 comes in seven. However, this isn’t necessarily an advantage.
