Help Support Your Community at the 2017 United Way Kickoff Lunch

Well, you can celebrate both of your loves in one spot at the 2017 United Way Kickoff Lunch with Special Guest Daryl “Moose” Johnston. The lunch takes place on August 10th from 11:30 AM to 1 PM at The Cascades Golf and Country Club in Tyler, TX. Make the drive to this exciting event this month!

About the Event

Football is the theme for this United Way event. That shouldn’t be a surprise, considering that Daryl “Moose” Johnston is the event’s keynote speaker. Considered one of the best special teams players to ever don a Dallas Cowboys uniform, Johnston hasn’t disappeared from the spotlight since retiring. He’s had a successful career as an NFL analyst and pops up at speaking engagements from time to time.

Going with the NFL theme, the United Way will be giving away football-themed door prizes. The door prizes will be fun, but the most coveted of the prizes will be awarded to the raffle winner. The United Way is raffling off tickets to a Cowboys Sunday night game. They will play the Giants in the game, and the winner will get two low-level tickets along with a parking pass. Moose might not be playing anymore, but it will be nice to see Dak Prescott and the crew demolish the Giants. They had a great season last year, and you know it is going to be off the hook this year.

Ticket Prices

You can get a ticket for as little as $30 if you just want to go to the lunch. If you want to take part in the VIP meet and greet, you will need to pay $50 for your ticket. If you love Moose, this is the way to go. You will get to meet with the legend in a private room before the lunch.

Businesses can also sponsor tables of ten. This costs $500.

Regardless of the ticket you choose, you will help the local community. The United Way will put the money back into the local area, so it is money well spent.
